The Traveling Billboard -- Marketing with a Vehicle Wrap

Want to get some attention? Here's a new twist on vehicle marketing! A full body vehicle wrap gets a lot of attention around town and on the highway. You can't help but notice a vehicle decked out with graphics. What a great marketing tool!

Yesterday when I saw Brenda O'Toole, owner of Signs PDQ at a WBENC forum, she told me me that her business phone is ringing like crazy as a result of putting this vehicle wrap photo with a 20% discount in her recent email newsletter.

"Chris, after I sent this out at 11 am the phone started ringing," Brenda explained. "Within two hours of sending it we already had EIGHT inquiries about the vehicle wrap -- in fact, in just one week we've had 20 communications asking about the wraps, all as a result of one little email newsletter!"

Email newsletters can generate a lot of leads fast. Brenda uses Constant Contact, which was one of the programs I wrote about in my email newsletter program review. Based on the results Brenda got, if you're considering trying an email newsletter program to remind your past customers about your services, now might be a really good time to try it!

Brenda believes that one reason her mailing was so successful is that she keeps her newsletters short and sweet. "I don't try to put too much into one newsletter!" she explained. "I just stay with one subject and I find that the people will want to read it and respond."

So if you're looking for business-to-business leads, you might try an email newsletter. But if you'd rather attract attention of retail consumers you may want to try a vehicle wrap. It works while you're driving around town or parked in front of your retail store. Just don't cut anybody off when you're driving... because EVERYONE knows who you are!!

I don't know if I'd ever do this to my own car... but I bet it would generate great business on the busy freeways of Los Angeles!

I wonder how you can see out the back windows... maybe it's like a one way mirror or something.

The vinyl on the windows are called Window Perf. You can see out perfectly clear. It's kind of like a screen door except there's print on the outside but none on the inside. It's perfectly legal too... for now!
