Wow. A Parade. 60 merchants participating with face painting, wand making, photography, gift certificates and discounts... from 6 pm to after midnight. And thousands of people - old, young, dressed in costume or watching the costumes -- wandering around Main Street, First & Main and even beyond. A marketing success story by many measures.

Liz Murphy has helped to brand The Learned Owl bookstore as the community leader in marketing. This one event is probably the largest event her company has organized, but is just one of the hundreds that The Learned Owl sponsors each year. In addition they promote local authors, make it easy for local book clubs to schedule their meetings & select authors and books, and in general has become the hub of the community.
